Marvell Libertas 802.11g/b Wireless driver Windows 7 issues

Moved here due to the copyright issues:

It really works and it's quite hard to find the solution online.

Best.

  1. Worked for me! Why is M$ software getting more difficult to use and Linux is becoming easier?

    Many thanks for the help!

  3. You may need to set the region to France with this driver if you are using channel 13. This driver is old and ASSUMES channels 13/14 are off limits. Grr. You set this within the adapter settings. Also set it yo 11g and wirelessg operation (again driver is old and defaults to b settings). I have had this driver play up, and since Marvell is unprepared to release proper win7 (AND Linux) drivers, I think I will have to buy a new card. Basically anything with a Realtek chip now is the most compatible adapter you can nuy. Sigh. Choice: new card or fix the driver from time to time (twice already).

  4. Well, if you follow the guide it works fine, it's brilliant since I have set it up no further actions needed. :-)
